How is Tax Deflectors different?
Unlike Block, Hewitt, Turbo, and most other tax places, Tax Deflectors does not hire seasonal help. Our trained tax pros are here year-round. You can be confident in your results knowing that your taxes were completed by a professional, and not a high school dropout that took a 3 week tax course.
What kind of training do your Tax Professionals have?
All of our Tax Professionals complete at least 18 hours of Continuing Education each year.
This Education includes the following:
- a 6-hour Annual Federal Tax Refresher course that covers filing season issues and tax law updates, as well as a knowledge-based comprehension test administered at the end of the course by the CE Provider;
- 10 hours of other federal tax law topics; and
- 2 hours of ethics
Do you price match or offer discounts?
Yes and no. We do typically offer a discount to those that get their documents in early. This is when we are the least busy.
We do not offer any sort of price match. Our rates are already on the low side of the industry. If you find someone less expensive, ask them if they are available year-round and what type of training they have.
